Merritt’s rising star led him to open for notable acts such as Hank Williams Jr., Charlie Daniels, Corey Smith, Ole 60, The Wilder Blue, and Colt Ford.
At the start of 2024, Josh unveiled his second studio album, 206, a semi-autobiographical country concept and breakup record. The lead single, "Give It To Me," along with its music video, sparked a surge of downloads, streams, and new fans. Co-produced, engineered, and mixed by Zach Kasik—whose impressive credits include Old Crow Medicine Show and Jamey Johnson’s That Lonesome Song—the album continues to build on Merritt’s growing legacy.
