The Bay Area Financial Education Foundation and the City of Redwood City are bringing three personal finance workshops to Redwood City Public Library for Youth Ages 18-24.
In Budgeting 101, Attendees will learn how to leverage a budget effectively. They will explore:
- The purpose of a budget and how to track income and expenses.
- The difference between wants and needs.
- Strategies for managing debt.
- Practical activities to create a budgeting habit, using modern tools and tips to track real-life spending.
This workshop is led by investment professionals who teach personal finance classes for teens and young adults.
This class is intended for youth ages 18-24.
There will be two other workshops: Understanding Credit (March 17) and Taxes & Your Paycheck (April 7). You do not need to attend all three.
