⚾ Buddy Ball Baseball – Spring 2026 ⚾Powered by MS Gulf Coast Buddy Sports at Gulfport Sportsplex
Buddy Ball Baseball is a FREE, inclusive baseball program designed to give children and teens of all abilities the opportunity to experience the joy of the game in a fun, supportive, and welcoming environment.
Games are played on the synthetic turf fields (Fields 10 & 11) at Gulfport Sportsplex, with music, announcements, cheering fans, and plenty of smiles.

🕔 Game Times (Wednesdays)
5:00 PM – Community Home players
6:00 PM – Players ages 5–12/13
7:00 PM – Players ages 13–14 and older
Teams will be created after registration closes.
🧢 Cost & Equipment
- FREE to play and volunteer
- Players receive a jersey and cap
- Volunteers receive jerseys at the Buddy Sports tent (between Fields 10 & 11)
- Closed-toe shoes required (cleats allowed, no steel cleats)
- Games use plastic bats and soft foam baseballs
- Gloves and helmets are optional
- Snacks provided after games
- Final game night includes medals and a free photo booth
⚾ Game Format
- Everyone hits, runs, scores, and plays the field
- Balls are hit from a tee or softly pitched
- Games last 2–3 innings
- Announcer provides music, player introductions, and play-by-play narration
👥 Volunteers
- Volunteers must be age 12 or older
- Volunteer hours can be documented upon request
- Parents/guardians are required to buddy with players ages 5–9
- If unavailable, the parent must provide a designated buddy
- Players ages 5–9 cannot play without a parent or assigned buddy
⚠️ Important Guidelines
- Inappropriate or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated
- All players and participants must wear shoes and appropriate clothing
- Extra parents/guardians not assigned to assist must remain outside the field and dugouts
- Please enjoy the games from the stands and cheer on the players
