Friends! A few years back, we did Bucks for Bruiser… well today we have a family who’s in need of some help for their boy, Bruin. They have been through quite an intense, scary and costly ordeal. Currently just over $12,000.00 in vet emergency bills. He’s home now but not fully out of the woods!
From Bruins family:
“On 12/26 I came home from work and he had what appeared to be a seizure in the back yard. We took him to VESH in West Springfield where they found that he had a septic abdomen. They called Cummings Veterinary Hospital at Tufts University and referred him there for emergency surgery sharing there was a 50/50 chance that he would make it due to the septic abdomen.
They were able to do the emergency surgery where they found an obstruction in his stomach and a perforation in his small intestine, this is what was leaking and caused the septic abdomen. He was hospitalized until 12/31 and then re-admitted on 1/1 following complications from the surgery”
Mason’s Mission is teaming up with All Stars Dance Center to help this family continue to provide the medical care Bruin needs to get him fully back to good health!
Join us at the Italian Fraternal Club on the 25th for some pizza, cookies and raffles… and overall moral support and love for this family.
$10 to attend (payable that day upon arrival)
Raffle tickets will be $20/sheet.
Cash is encouraged but the families CashApp and Venmo will be an option that day too!
ALL proceeds go to the family! The club is donating the space! ❤️ (There will be a cash bar).
