About this Event
Please join us for the screening of the feature film "Bucha".
"Bucha" is a powerful story about a refugee from Kazakhstan who saved hundreds of Ukrainians from Bucha and other occupied Ukrainian territories.
This feature film is a symbol that the fight is ongoing and we are incredibly proud to be a part of it.
The film won second place in the audience vote among feature films presented at the 40th Warsaw International Film Festival in October 2024. It has been released on Netflix in Poland, Ukraine, and other countries in Europe and is ranked first amongst top 10 films to watch.
This screening is organized by Leonid Foundation in collaboration with Rutgers University Film CO-OP.
Panel discussion with Oleksandr Shchur, the producer and screenwriter of the film will follow the screening. Light refreshments will be provided.
