Workshop Description:In this hands-on workshop, 12–15 children ages 4–8 will design and craft their own colourful Upcycled Suncatchers using repurposed materials including: cardboard cutouts (many different shapes/styles to choose from), paints/brushes, tissue paper/glass paper, beads, buttons, and string. The children will learn about recycling and sustainability while exploring colour, light, and texture through playful art-making.
Highlights:
• A fun introduction to upcycling and creative reuse
• Step-by-step guidance in crafting beautiful suncatchers
• All materials provided, using safe, kid-friendly items
• Each child takes home their unique window-ready artwork (+ a small Bubs goody bag!)

Workshop Host:
Bubs Artspace was born from a simple but powerful belief: creativity is essential for emotional growth, especially in children. As a parent, I understand firsthand how important it is to offer kids meaningful outlets to explore their feelings, build confidence, and express who they are.
With a background in Advertising and Marketing as a Digital Project Manager, and having grown up surrounded by early childhood care through my mum’s in-home daycare, creativity and open-minded learning have always been part of my world. Recently, after completing courses in Art Therapy for Children, my passion deepened: I realized that embracing the process of making art — not just the end product — plants lifelong seeds of confidence, resilience, and freedom to be your true self.
Through Bubs Artspace, I’m excited to offer tutorials, workshops, and encouragement to help parents and little ones enjoy creative journeys together — and unlock the growth that comes when we let imaginations lead the way.
