About this Event

Join us for an evening with a vegan tech presentation by Steven Rouk, vegan appetizers, and networking!

Steven Rouk will be presenting on Bubble.io, Python, and BigQuery: How Connect For Animals Uses Technology To Help End Factory Farming

Connect For Animals was founded on the hypothesis that most people who care about ending factory farming aren't as plugged in as they would like to be. One of the problems for that, we think, is that there aren't very many good ways for people to find events and opportunities that are a good fit for them. Connect For Animals is working to help change that by building a platform that brings together events, action opportunities, groups, and people in order to help people find the right opportunity for them. (Think of us as a mixture of Meetup.com, LinkedIn, and Bumble BFF, but all related to ending factory farming.) There is a lot of technology required to pull this off, and in this talk our founder Steven Rouk will discuss the major pieces of our technical infrastructure that we have built in order to accomplish our mission.

Chakra restaurant will be providing vegan Thai-Indian appetizers!
