The Bazan Talent Agency annual Performer In Progress Award (aka PIP Award) is for actors based here in the U.K over the age of 16 who are interested in turning their acting into a professional career.Director and Head Agent of Bazan Talent Agency, Nathalie Bazan, created the opportunity award, as she recognised there were many actors who struggle to break into the industry without professional drama training and spotlight.
' I wanted to be able to create an opportunity for all actors to be able to apply no matter what your background or experience. The PIP Award is really helpful and a great opportunity for any actor who finds themselves looking for the next step- especially if drama school or training is a difficult option for whatever reason.'
The PIP Award winner includes:
*One years free drama training to the Bazan Talent Agency courses and workshops held in Birmingham.
* A free headshot session and headshots with a professional headshot photographer.
* A free showreel for your acting profile, written, filmed and edited by BTA film director Idriss Assoumanou.
* A professional working credit alongside Lying Lips Theatre Company and one of their upcoming productions.
* Full-Time Agency Representation alongside Bazan Talent Agency.
Submissions open on Monday 1st February 2021.
You need to send the following to be considered:
* A cover letter- explaining your reasons why you wish to be considered for this year's PIP Award 2021.
* An acting CV- with any acting credits (this can include credits from school, college, university, and any amateur productions.)
* A headshot or photo of you. (If you do not have a headshot a mid shot photo of you on a plain background will be sufficient.)
* You are welcome (optional) to film a short introduction tape- please upload via we transfer and send to our email.

If your submission is successful you will be invited to our initial auditions in March 2021 here in Birmingham. / Following on from the initial auditions if you are selected to make the finals - a recall audition will be held 2 weeks after. We then select our top three, with our third place, official runner up and then our official winner of the pip award 2021.
