About this Event
“Behind The Art '' (BTA) Park-Up FEST is a community-oriented arts festival that celebrates diversity, showcases artists whilst educating the community about various artists forms and creating mental health awareness. The event is led by a not-for-profit Collective BTA and our aim is to create a mental health awareness art series that strengthens community wellness through public art while highlighting Scarborough/Toronto artists. We welcome people of all ages and cultural backgrounds. The festival is taking place on Saturday, August 27th, 2022 at Thomson Memorial Park in Scarborough. Rain date is August 28th, 2022.
Experience live music performances, arts installation, interactive art activities and arts programming that is compact with culture.
BTA is also hosting 2 youth workshops on August 23rd, for youth 13-18 years where they create art and receive resources on mental health.
