Regional In-Person Tour (Boise, ID)

Join WoodWorks on a Tour of the BSU Albertsons Stadium North End Zone Expansion and ESI Construction Management Building for a firsthand look at local examples of mass timber construction. Organized in partnership with the ULI Idaho Sustainability Summit.

Stop #1Albertsons Stadium North End Zone Expansion https://opsisarch.com/project/albertsons-stadium-north-end-zone/

Designed by Opsis Architecture and built by Andersen Construction, The North End Zone Project showcases glulam beams and cross-laminated timber (CLT) as the primary structural elements for the concourse club ceiling and roof. The project intentionally selected these mass timber elements to create a warm, inviting architectural expression while reducing the project’s carbon footprint. This thoughtful use of natural wood materials reflects the team’s commitment to sustainability, performance, and a distinctive aesthetic befitting Boise State University.
