About this Event

We are very excited to welcome SF & fantasy author Stewart Hotston as our November guest.

Stewart lives in Reading, UK. With a Celtic-Indian mother and a father of North African/Roma descent, Stewart is a somewhat confused second-generation immigrant living in the UK who has written several novels with his latest, Project Hanuman, out in November 2025.

When he’s not writing he can be found working as a financier in the City of London. Beyond that rather questionable career choice, he is treasurer for the British Fantasy Society and the Chair of the BSFA.

A lifelong tabletop roleplayer, computer gamer and LARPer, he owns the award-winning UK LARP 'Curious Pastimes' which has been running since 1996 and has more than 1500 players at their large four-day events. His game company, Flowstate Games, also runs other LARPs (including the one-off horror setting Alone which has been running for 15 years).

You can learn more about Stewart's work by visiting his website stewarthotston.com.
