About this Event
Bryophytes: Field Identification Course 2022

This course will cover roughly 20 species of moss and liverwort commonly encoutered in woodland, heathland and bog habitat in Lowland Britain. Using straightforward and memorable field characteristics we will look for and identify these key species, then use a range of tests, individual and group work to run over them several times to help with the learning process.

If you love this fascinating group of plants but have never been able to put names to them this is the course for you!

All proceeds go towards our endangered species conservation programmes.

Please inform us of any medical requirements/conditions we should be aware of prior to the course. Due to the nature of the habitat, part of the course will be on uneven and boggy ground.
