OYE OYE!His Majesty King Henry VII doth hereby invite any and all gentles to his Royal Hunting Lodge to celebrate to good health at Candlemas. Don thee thy best apparel for the revelries.
For the entertainment of his most esteemed guests, His Majesty in conjunction with Their Halberd Excellencies has selected a theme of The Canterbury Tales. The day's merriment promises dancing -- including the infamous Candle Dance, as well as feasting and proper banqueting complete with subtleties. A number of esteemed champions will be chosen in the fields of Arts & Sciences, Bardic, Brewing, and Cut & Thrust. There will also be additional competitions -- costuming, subtleties, and an insignia derby.
The Stellar Crowns of Ansteorra Jean Paul and Gillian will be in attendance and the vigil and elevation of Don Santiago will take place as well.
On Sunday, there will also be a Southern Regional War Practice which will include siege weapons authorization opportunities and practice.
