Bryan Bixby is a Chicago-based comic originally from the village of La Farge, WI. He tried comedy for the first time in high school at the age of 15, and performed at multiple events around La Farge over the next 4 years. After moving to Portland, OR in 2015, his quick wit, clever writing, and rapid-fire delivery made him a staple in the comedy scene, earning him the title of “Portland’s Funniest Person” from Willamette Week. Former co-producer and host of “Everyone Hates You” (Portland’s most popular roast battle show) and a regular at Helium Comedy Club, Bixby was a four-time finalist in Portland’s Funniest Competition, a three-time finalist in the Oregon Comedy Competition, and a two-time winner of the City vs. City Comedy Smackdown, a competition between scenes from all along the west coast. Before moving to Chicago in 2024, he became a regular feature and headliner all over the Pacific Northwest, including Tacoma Comedy Club and Capitol Hill Comedy / Bar. He headlined a sold out Mission Theater in Portland for his going away show. Bryan has performed at clubs and shows across the country, including The K*ll Tony Regular Show at Vulcan Gas Company in Austin, Fresh Faces at the Laugh Factory in Chicago, and Don’t Tell Comedy in multiple cities. He’s appeared at festivals including the Treefort Music Festival, Alaska B4UDie Comedy Festival, and Rip City Comedy Festival. He’s opened for comics like Dave Attell, Kyle Kinane, Jeff Arcuri, and has been a guest on The Doug Stanhope Podcast.
