About this Event
Lucky American Films + Uncensored New York present a special night of moving image works by Jonathan Rosado with additional performances + sounds to celebrate the release of the collector's edition DVD + original motion picture soundtrack LP of Rosado's second feature-length film Brutalist Couture.
Jonathan Rosado is a filmmaker and founding member of experimental music group The Suede Hello. Brutalist Couture is a Neo-noir odyssey exploring themes of conspiracy in a cinematic world where reality itself is abstracted.
Join us at KGB Private Curtain for a night of experimentation where one act blends into the next. Hosted by music label and booking agency Angel Landing and film production companies One Many Army + Drunken Boat.
Christian Cail will open the night, The Suede Hello will perform an electronic improvisational set followed by a selected retrospective of Rosado’s filmography- including excerpts from Viridian Hue (2023), Brutalist Couture (2024), various video art works, and a highly-anticipated sneak preview of his newest upcoming feature film. The night will close with a performance by Death Dance Music and an exclusive listen to the Brutalist Couture Original Motion Picture Soundtrack.
