How many paint brushes do you have in your supplies? Do you know the difference between them?
Flats, Rounds, Brights, Angled, and Liners of all sizes are in my paint box. I typically use only a few of them.
Practicing brush stroke technique is how you get familiar with your painting tools and medium. Do you prefer to blend or let your brushstrokes show? This class will help you find your style no matter which way you wish to paint.

Session 1: Friday, August 8, 1-4pm: CLASS FEE $70, you bring your supplies and tools. (add a note and the supply kit fee if you need paints, brushes, sketch book, colorwheel, palette knives)
Session 2: Friday, August 22, 1-4pm: CLASS FEE $70, you bring your supplies and tools. (add a note and the supply kit fee if you need paints, brushes, sketch book, colorwheel, palette knives)
Both Sessions 1&2: DISCOUNTED FEE of $125 for both dates, you bring your supplies and tools.
SUPPLY KIT FEE $75, if you are new to acrylics or would like to use materials and tools similar to what the teacher demonstrates.
We will focus on painting from images of birds and flowers in the wild. If you have an image, bring it. We will discuss why one image is better than another or how we might adjust it to make a better composition, selecting a pleasing color palette and mixing custom shades or hues.
Whether you are a novice or an expert, you will benefit from this one. Becca keeps her classes small in order to offer more personal direction and demonstrations in class. Each class includes a discussion and lesson for your to build your current skill level. Acrylics are the medium of choice, but if you prefer watercolors or oils, you will benefit from this instruction.
Becca's painting sessions for acrylic artists happen at least twice a month and are formed around the needs of the students. If you wish to see a particular lesson or have an idea for a painting session, send her a private message to discuss.
