The Eastern Iowa Arts Academy has partnered with Big Grove Brewery in Cedar Rapids, and the Iowa BIG Program to host the Brushstrokes in Bloom Art-a-thon! On Sunday, April 27th, join us and several local artists as they spend the day creating a work of art before your very eyes. The artists will be working throughout the day for the public to see the process of creating a finished piece, and we will also have activities running through out the day as well as information about who EIAA is and how we are repurposing the old Arthur Elementary School building. After the event, we will be digitally auctioning off some of the finished pieces. All proceeds from this event will go towards our efforts to make our new space ADA compliant. Admission is free, but there will be a suggested donation at the door.
