Join us for an immersive art workshop under the guidance of mixed-media artist Muneeba Zeeshan. Learn the tips and tricks to paint stunning sunset waves on a wood panel, while capturing the brilliance of the ocean and bringing its beauty to life.

Artist’s Biography:

Muneeba Zeeshan’s mixed media artwork uses different kinds of inks on paper and canvas to create abstract work that simultaneously rises, evaporates, and transcends. Through the ebb and flow of inks, she creates something that is earthy, fluid, and ethereal all at once.

Muneeba got a chance to travel across the globe. From those ardent travels, she brings with her the influences that have inspired her along the way. She now resides in sunny Bay Area, CA. The place itself is thriving with art and diverse culture. The calming Pacific coastline and the sheer energy of the city are enough to invigorate the artist that she is.

Muneeba tends to draw inspiration from everything around her, from simple things to the environment to world events. Her work involves mixed media abstract art, predominantly alcohol ink and acrylic ink on Yupo paper, canvas and other surfaces. She also likes to experiment with different textures and metallics. Her process of creating art is inherently organic, so no two art pieces are the same. But often, there are art pieces that come together cohesively, despite being completely different.

Her artwork has been represented at international and local art galleries and exhibitions. She honors and cherishes the relationships she’s built with clients and the creative community over the years. That, and the gift of art, are the biggest reward to her. Muneeba is currently working as the Visual Arts specialist at the Children’s Discovery Museum designing and implementing the arts and education program at the museum.
