About this Event
Join us for an extraordinary cultural evening at the opening of Brunovský and Son, an exclusive art exhibition celebrating the legacy of one of Slovakia’s most influential artists 🎨
The exhibition opens on Tuesday, January 20, with doors opening at 6:30 PM, at the Slovak General Consulate, located at 167 E 73rd Street, New York 📍
Guests will have the rare opportunity to experience remarkable works by Albín Brunovský, one of the greatest Slovak artists of the 20th century, presented alongside selected pieces by his son. The exhibition offers a rare intergenerational dialogue—including works from private collections and several pieces that reveal the intimate and at times provocative layers of Brunovský’s artistic creation.
Held under the auspices of the Slovak National Gallery and curated by gallery specialist Martin Vančo, the exhibition has been organized in collaboration with the +421 Foundation 🤝 The evening will be further elevated by a live musical performance by acclaimed Slovak musician Karol Csino, creating a truly immersive artistic experience 🎶
Please note: Entry to the event is by RSVP only ✉️
The Slovak General Consulate reserves the right to cancel registrations.
Recommended for audiences aged 18 and over due to mature themes.
We invite you to celebrate art, heritage, and creativity with us in an unforgettable setting ✨
