About Adam S. Leslie:
Adam S. Leslie grew up in rural Lincolnshire during the 1980s, in a tiny remote village called Carlton Scroop not far from Moondial, spending his days among the pylons daydreaming of Beatles records and Star Wars figures. He now lives in Oxford, where he pretends to be a grownup but still mostly daydreams of Beatles records. His debut novel, Lost in the Garden, was published by Dead Ink Books in 2024 and won the Nero Prize for Fiction. As well as an author, Adam is a screenwriter, songwriter and musician. As an accompaniment to his debut novel, he has released Lost in the Garden: Music for the Book, a soundtrack album of electronic music and soundscapes, under the name Berlin Zebra.
About Lost in the Garden:
Lost in the Garden is folk horror novel. Disturbing, dreamlike and unsettling, the book follows Heather, Rachel and Antonia travelling to Almanby, a place from an old wives’ tale that everybody knew nobody should go to. As they travel through ever-shifting geography and encounter strange voices in the fizz of shortwave radio, it becomes harder and harder to tell friend from foe.
