In our new series of post-concert talks leading performers, composers, and researchers share their work, illuminate the music of the past, present and future, and explore exciting areas of performance practice, music theory, social context, and history.

All of these talks are designed for concert audiences and no specialist knowledge is required; just curiosity and a love of music!

Join leading guitarist and historical performance researcher Johan Lofving as he discusses the life, teachings, and legacy of the extraordinary virtuoso Catharina Pratten and her influence on nineteenth-century performance practice in a talk full of live demonstrations and historical insight.
