There's nothing more refreshing than mimosas and Sunday brunch. Join us at Post Commons, a coffee house and cafe with the cutest event space. Styled Workshops serve as an opportunity to dig into our creative roots, network with vendors, showcase gorgeous venues, and promote continuing education and opportunity in photography.
For these reasons, photographers are credited on every post containing their work across vendor, venue, and host social media. They are led through a hands-on workshop in a unique atmosphere by an industry professional to learn critical skills pertaining to lighting, posing, editing, photoshopping, and more. The workshops vary, but the subject will always be announced before registration opens.
Vendors receive full freedom to create whatever they want within the confines of the aesthetic. They also receive full credits on all posts relating to the event from every other vendor, host, venue, and photographer.
Venues receive access to credited photographs from all photographers for marketing and social media purposes. They also receive tags across social media platforms from photographers, vendors, and hosts.
Every workshop contains a social hour with snacks and refreshments so that vendors, venues, hosts, and photographers can network. Following the social hour, photographers dive into the hour-long workshop containing five carefully curated photography stations. After the workshop, the venue is open to a free shoot period where photographers can stretch their legs and apply their new skills outside of workshop instruction.
The five stations are typically a ceremony arch, cake table, stationary layout, sweetheart table, and a unique station. However, they are not limited to this; more stations may be available. Final design and floorplans are posted in advance so that photographers and vendors can best prepare.
Vendor calls, model calls, and instructor calls are posted first. Once these positions are filled, we open the event for workshop registration. The registration cost covers snacks and refreshments, workshop materials, and use of the stations.
Workshop registration for photographers is $100, with 5 spots available. We are also looking for 1 videographer for this event.
Posts will be made for vendor, model, and instructor calls, as well as workshop registration individually.
