Brunch! Boo! And a Movie, Too!

Join us on Thursday, October 23 from 10 AM-12:30 PM at Enzian Theatre for a free, sober Halloween brunch gathering!

We recognize that Halloween can be a tough time to celebrate and gather with peers in spaces that don't include substances. Anyone is welcome, regardless of their relationship to substances.

Founded in 1985, Enzian is a single screen cinema café and home of the Florida Film Festival. A member-supported, non-profit cultural organization, Enzian exists to entertain, inspire, educate, and connect the community through film.

Starting at 10 AM, we'll be welcoming our friends, and enjoying brunch (fruit, eggs, bagels, bacon, home fries). At 10:30, a showing of Hocus Pocus will begin! Following the movie, we'll be doing a vote for the winners of our costume contest!

Winners of the costume contest will be awarded adorable plushies!

Film synopsis: After moving to Salem, Mass., teenager Max Dennison (Omri Katz) explores an abandoned house with his sister Dani (Thora Birch) and their new friend, Allison (Vinessa Shaw). After dismissing a story Allison tells as superstitious, Max accidentally frees a coven of evil witches (Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimy) who used to live in the house. Now, with the help of a magical cat, the kids must steal the witches' book of spells to stop them from becoming immortal.
