We are hosting a special brunch service built around a small, intentional menu. The idea was not novelty for its own sake, but comfort pushed just far enough to be interesting.Some of these dishes begin in familiar places and then wander. Others start strange and settle into something reassuring by the time you finish them. All of them are meant to be eaten slowly, preferably in good company.
The menu includes gingerbread pancakes with whipped cream, sprinkles, and Fireball syrup. A ramen scramble built from pork broth noodles, eggs, mozzarella, scallions, potato sticks, pancetta seasoned pork belly, and a house sauce. A char roasted oyster Benedict with absinthe creamed spinach and artichokes, corn muffin, and sherry Hollandaise foam. Grits and grillades with beef tips simmered low in a Creole gravy over cheddar grits. Lamb chops crusted in pistachio and arugula pesto, set over black eyed pea purée with a chili herb drizzle and a ramen quail egg.
This is brunch as a deliberate pause rather than a rush. A reason to sit. A reason to talk. A reason to stay a little longer than you planned.
