Andrew Kerr from the Sustainable Eel Group will be joining us for the evening to bring us up-to-date on all things eel, and to share some of the successes from the Somerset Eel Recovery Project during its first year
The Somerset Eel Recovery Project is a county-wide initiative that exists to promote European Eel recovery – It says…
"Rather than focus on policies on an international scale which take a lifetime to get over the line, we're working with stakeholders in our local community to make a small, but meaningful impact on European eel populations. Once plentiful across the Somerset Levels, this migratory fish is now registered as critically endangered throughout its range. We're working to change that"
Join us from 7 pm, downstairs in the Clubroom @ the Chapel, for a drink, and then to hear the real story about Eels on the Brue. The formal AGM will be held after the talk
