Back after their masterful 2022 performance, Brubeck Brothers Quartet return to our stage! With a style most rooted in “straight-ahead” jazz, their performances reveal an explorative creativity, technique, and improvisation, reflecting their dedication to the spontaneous spirit of jazz, and an inherent ability to naturally integrate the influences of funk, blues, and world music. Chris and Dan Brubeck have been making music together practically all their lives, including with their father, jazz giant Dave Brubeck.Having performed at concert series and jazz festivals worldwide, and improvising with countless jazz groups and soloists, Brubeck Brothers Quartet is a historic feature of classic and modern jazz. Performing, “Take Five,” “Blue Rondo a La Turk,” “Far More Blue,” and more, this show honors their father and gives this timeless music new life.
The Brubeck Brothers Quartet was founded by Chris and Dan Brubeck and features Mike DeMicco on guitar and Chuck Lamb on piano.
