About this Event

Here's more on what you can expect:

Dr. Thomas Weber with MD ORTHO SYSTEMS, LLC will review the critical pieces to documenting and managing Work Comp cases to get employees healthy again and reduce claims cost. The clock is ticking: the importance of timely case management!

Curtis G. Moore, partner with FISHER PHILLIPS will give an update on OSHA’s, and specifically VOSH’s, activities this year, including their current priorities and regulatory changes, with a forecast on what to expect from the agencies moving forward under the current administration. Curt will also provide a brief overview of crucial points to remember regarding VOSH’s recordkeeping requirements and address any questions regarding the recordkeeping requirements.

Josh Russell, CSP, EHS Director with HOWARD HUGHES MEDICAL INSTITUTE & NOVA Chapter President of the American Society of Safety Professionals has a thought provoking presentation on how to use C.A.R.E. (Collaborative, Authentic, Radical, Engaged) tactics, a powerful framework for replacing outdated fear-based methods with a more compassionate, people-focused approach. Grounded in neuroscience, these strategies offer a fresh perspective on how to foster trust, commitment, and sustainable cultural change.

Aimee Rodriguez, Safety Manager with INTERCHANGE and Vice President for the Blue Ridge Safety Association, will lead an interactive networking session over lunch - including awarding some valuable door prizes!

David Shofstahl, Dean of the Blue Ridge Community College Workforce Solutions Team panel discussion will focus on industry partnerships and your questions. Programs include healthcare, CDL, trades, IT, leadership development, and more. With strong industry partnerships, the team offers customized training, licensure prep, and professional development. A tour of the college's facility and how their programs can benefit your current and future employees will conclude the conference.
