About this Event
🥾 ABOUT THE WALK 🥾
Bring your furry friends and join us for a wonderful dog pack walk through the Swift Valley Nature Reserve and along the historic Brownsover Arm, a disused section of the Oxford Canal. This stretch of the canal, originally built in the late 18th century, was abandoned in the 1830s after the canal was straightened, offering a unique glimpse into the past.
Our route continues towards Cosford, a fascinating shrunken medieval village. We’ll pass close to the village farm, amble by the local shooting ground, and make our way back across scenic fields to rejoin the Oxford Canal. Following the towpath, we’ll cross near the Harvester Bell & Barge pub before looping back to the car park.
