About this Event
70 years ago, the supreme court mandated racial integration in schools "with all deliberate speed," but somehow Seattle's schools are STILL segregated. Why? And what can we do about it? Join us as we examine Seattle's history of integration efforts and talk about how we can finish this important work.
We'll have guests from The Seattle Times, Seattle Public Schools school board, and more. Plus there will be cake! Let's celebrate how far we've come and cheer each other on towards achieving racial justice in our school system.
