US AIR FORCE RETIRED VETERAN - GWOTThe family of Mr. Timothy Brown, a US Air Force (Ret.) Veteran, requests the presence and participation of the San Antonio Patriot Guard at the private service, and the LEO supported procession, and the public service of their loved one. We are honored to accept this invitation.
Timothy (Tim) C. Brown, of Schertz, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025, surrounded by friends. He was born on December 3, 1955, in Detroit, Michigan.
Tim was a devoted husband to his late wife, Nancy, with whom he shared a life of partnership, purpose, and community service. Together, they built a successful real estate and property management business, serving the Schertz area with integrity and dedication.
A proud veteran, Tim retired from the United States Air Force in October 2004 after 28 years of honorable service, achieving the rank of Chief Master Sergeant (CMSgt). As a Special Operations Combat Controller, Tim established an infrastructure that would be the footprint for Global War on Terrorism (GWOT). He served his country through distinct assignments across Illinois, Washington, North Carolina, Hawaii, Texas, and numerous deployments around the world. His deployments included Desert Storm, South America, Panama, Grenada, Somalia, Cambodia, and numerous operations supporting GWOT.
Following his military career, Tim and Nancy hit the ground running while earning their Real Estate Licenses in 2005. Later in 2011, The Browns established RE/MAX Corridor where they served as broker/owners establishing deep roots in the Schertz community. Tim's leadership and passion for real estate extended far beyond his business. Tim served as a Director for the San Antonio Board of Realtors (2016-2018) and held various committee leadership roles since 2005. He also presided as President of the Randolph Area Real Estate Association and was an active member of local Chambers of Commerce.
Tim's commitment to public service was evident in his civic involvement. Since 2018, he has proudly represented the community as Schertz City Councilman, Place 7. Prior to his election, he served as President of the Schertz Economic Development Corporation (2011-2018). In 2024, he was appointed to represent Schertz on the Schertz-Seguin Local Government Corporation Board. His additional contributions included appointments to the Mayor's Advisory Board in 2014 and the 2016 Bond Committee.
Tim was an amazing teacher and mentor to many. His educational achievements reflected his lifelong pursuit of excellence. He earned an associate degree in Air Traffic Control from the Community College of the Air Force in 1986 and a Bachelor of Science in Management from Wayland Baptist University in 2001.
He will be deeply missed by his brothers Jim, Pat, and Matt; sisters-in-law Robyne, Danielle, Becky, and Sue; nephews Colin, Scott, Adam, and Kaz; nieces Ellen and Wendy; and a host of friends, colleagues, and community members who were touched by his leadership, generosity, and spirit of service.
Tim Brown's legacy of dedication—to his country, his community, and his family-will continue to inspire all who have the privilege of knowing him.
