I will be doing a talk and signing copies of my book, I GO THERE WITH YOU: THE U2 SITES OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, FROM SIGNIFICANT TO SACRED on January 18 (a Sunday) at 3 PM. Everyone is welcome, whether or not you have already purchased the book. Copies *will* be on hand to purchase, so if you have not yet gotten your copy, you are gently encouraged to get it there! (But I will sign any book you put in front of me). The location of this event, Book Soup, is described in my book as a U2 site of significance. It is the store that distributed copies of Bono's memoir for his book promo show at the Orpheum in 2022, and it has an earlier place in the band's history going back to the 80s (what is it? You can find it on page 140 of my book, and we'll be talking about it during the event!). I will do a live reading of passages from the book, and maybe we'll have time for a Q&A.
Bring a friend if you like, or share this invite if you know people who may be interested in hearing about the book, picking up a copy to get signed, and mingling with other U2 fans. It should be a fun time for U2 friends old and new. I hope to see you there!
