The Brooklyn Folk Festival comes to Queens! In partnership with the Jalopy Theatre & School of Music, we proudly present the best in American and world folk music. The evening will feature the Ba Ban Chinese Music Society Trio, showcasing the lively rhythms of traditional Chinese music. The Piedmont Blūz Acoustic Duo, with Valerie and Benedict Turner, will share their passion for Country Blues through the Piedmont style of fingerpicking and roots percussion. Closing out the night, the New York City Salsa All Stars, led by percussionist Willie Martinez, will bring their high-energy sound, featuring some of the most talented and accomplished Salsa musicians in the country. Celebrate folk traditions, cultural diversity, and live music at its finest! Come early for free pre-show workshops from 6:30 to 7:30 PM, included with your concert ticket—no RSVP required!
