A lovely evening awaits us with readings from new work by Brooke Champagne and Jason McCall, scheduled on Thursday, December 12 at 5:30pm. Champagne’s newest book, Nola Face, is a collection of essays that explore topics of family, identity, memory, and the complicated ways in which we relate to each other. McCall’s Razed by TV Sets, also a book of essays, plumbs the ways in which depictions of race and masculinity have shaped how the author sees himself and others.
