Immerse yourself in the ancient art of Bronze Axe Casting in this hands-on workshop and craft your very own Bronze Age axe head using traditional techniques.Under the guidance of expert Bronze Caster Jonny Cope, you'll master each step of the process: from precise mould-making to the mesmerising pour, followed by the satisfying process of finishing your piece through fettling, grinding, and polishing.
We’ll provide all safety equipment and refreshments.
Please note: This will primarily be an outdoor based activity and so dressing warmly in full-length trousers and sturdy footwear is advised.
