About this Event

Exciting Opportunity for young creators!

Are you interested in the arts & crafts, creative writing, and drama? The Bronze Arts Award programme is your chance to explore and develop your creative skills while working towards a nationally recognised Level 1 qualification. Join our weekly after-school session, where you’ll take part in hands-on activities, learn new skills and express your creativity as you work towards achieving your award.


What’s in store: All free creative activities, meeting new people, getting to explore your own individual interests, learning your skills, and a trip, all the while getting a credited Level 1 qualification.

Who: young people aged 11-14 years old

When: 5 Thursday afterschool sessions from 2nd October 2025- 6th November 2025, 4:00pm-5:30pm.

Please note: On Tuesday 28th October there will be a session instead of the 30th. The session will also be from 10am-3pm at Clifton Park Musem.

Where:

  • Riverside House, Main St, Rotherham S60 1AE for all dates except 9th and 28th October. 4:00-5:30pm.
  • On the 9th of October we will be at Grimm & Co Ship Hill, Rotherham S60 2HG, from 4:00-5:30pm.
  • On the 28th October we will be at Clifton Part Museum S65 2AA, from 10am-3pm.

Key information:

This programme is completely free to take part in, and open to young people aged 11 to 14 years old. You must be able to attend all of the sessions of the programme to sign up.

Refreshments will be provided during each session.

A guardian must complete a consent form at the start of the programme and a guardian must be available to drop them off and sign them out of each session of the programme.

All staff members delivering the programme hold current Enhanced DBS checks. The Program has been fully risk assessed, and our risk assessment and safeguarding policies are available on request.
