Join Hutchinson River Restoration Project and Captain Mike's Diving Services, Inc. for a cleanup on the Hutchinson River shoreline along City Island from 12 PM to 4 PM for the 13th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep. This is a rain or shine event.
Volunteers will meet at City Island (specific site TBD). Parking is available.
Please wear shoes that can get wet and have rubber soles. We also recommend that Sweep volunteers bring a hat, sunscreen, a full reusable water bottle, insect repellent, work gloves and hand sanitizer.
This site is not suitable for elementary-aged children.

- Volunteers are required to pre-register for Sweep.
- Volunteers should not participate if they have ANY signs of illness or if they have potentially been exposed to COVID-19.
Over the last 12 years, Sweep leaders have completed 1,199 service projects, bringing together thousands of volunteers from NYC to the Adirondacks to clean up 355 tons of debris, and plant or maintain 7,130 native plants.
