The Bronco Percussion Group returns with an unforgettable evening of percussion chamber music that pushes the boundaries of sight and sound. This showcase highlights works where rhythm meets drama, transforming the stage into a space of movement, gesture, and groove. Thierry De May’s iconic 'Table Music' turns an ordinary tabletop into a stage for a tightly choreographed trio, where percussive taps, flicks, and strikes create a mesmerizing score for both the ears and the eyes. Jlin’s 'Soulfood' brings a fresh and soulful energy to the concert hall, fusing pulsating rhythms and rich textures in a powerful quintet setting. Amongst other works, the program also features the 1st movement of Alejandro Viñao’s 'Relative Riffs,' a dazzling work for percussion keyboards that interweaves complex patterns into an intricate—and exhilarating—musical tapestry.
Join us for a night of virtuosic performance, theatrical flair, and the unexpected, as BPG continues to redefine what percussion can be!
