Not the usual Cleveland ramblers walk; it's a more urban walk than usual, much of the walk is on good footpaths, though some paths may be a little muddy.
Starting from Brompton Church, we walk towards Northallerton following North Beck through a recreation ground, past a couple of shopping units and onto the A167. Caution needed as we cross the very busy A167, heading to North Bridge area, then on to Castle Hills, around field paths heading towards Romanby Golf Club, cross the railway at Romanby Bridge, and into Romanby. Aim to have a 10-15 min break in Romanby before walking along Romanby Road back towards Northallerton cutting through a housing estate through Applegarth car park and back to Northallerton High street. We walk to Brompton via the recreation ground and Northallerton road.
Route is very flat, only 150ft elevation.
