On Saturday, June 1, from 2 pm until 4 pm Streets Alive Mission asks women from across Southern Alberta to join us for the Broken Butterflies Afternoon Tea Party. This fundraising event is a joyful and elegant way for women to help women through Streets Alive Mission’s Genesis Women’s Life Recovery Program. Tickets are limited! What is Genesis Women's Life Recovery?
Genesis Women’s Life Recovery Program is about leaving the past behind and finding new healthy relationships with family, peers, and mentors. Many of the women who come to Genesis have experienced abject pain, suffering, and desperation, through varying forms of abuse. Our Genesis program is a faith-centered, abstinence-based program which walks with women through the processes required to change their lives. Programming concentrates on group therapy, accessing counselling, work skills, literacy upgrading, and financial stability. Through structured mentorship and unconditional love, Genesis is designed to help heal the brokenness in their lives.
