Join people in North London who want to make a difference for animals!About this Event
The mission of The Humane League UK (THL UK) is to end the abuse of all animals raised for food and we need your help to make it happen!
If you are passionate about this cause, we would love for you to join us for this public peaceful protest which is all about raising awareness of factory farmed chickens, and encouraging Lidl to sign up to the Better Chicken Commitment.
We will meet in Kentish Town on Anglers Lane at 11.45 (round the corner from Lidl). All materials are provided, so just wear suitable clothing for the weather.
We’ll be holding a peaceful protest, positioning ourselves outside the store and talking to customers as they come in and out, handing out information about chicken welfare, and encouraging positive conversations amongst the public. We will also have actions for members of the public to take against the supermarket, if they wish to.
This event is open to anyone who believes in our mission: to end the abuse of all animals raised for food. You do not need to be a current volunteer or affiliated with THL UK in any way, everyone is welcome.
We’ve picked a site we believe to be accessible for wheelchair users but if you would like to double check your accessibility needs please contact the organiser, who will be happy to help.
