On Monday November 11th, 2024, we join our nation and come together to pause and pay respect to those who bravely fought and died and to those who were wounded or continue to "Stand On Guard" to preserve freedom and peace.Annually, Brockville honours those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom with a parade and a ceremony each November 11th Remembrance Day.
Dignitaries and service members meet at 10:30 in front of City Hall with a procession to the Brockville Cenotaph where the outdoor ceremony will begin at the Court House Ave Cenotaph.
We recognize the courage and sacrifices made by those who served our country, fighting for peace.
We honour Canada's veterans and remember the sacrifice they have made for our freedom.
