Tickets on sale to the public 12/22/25Bobby Conte was last seen on Broadway in the Broadway revival of The Who’s Tommy. Previously, he starred in the acclaimed Tony-winning Broadway revival of George Furth and Stephen Sondheim’s Company. Bobby made his Broadway debut originating the role of ‘Calogero’ in A Bronx Tale, directed by Robert De Niro and Jerry Zaks. In film and TV, his credits include IF BEALE STREET COULD TALK (dir. Barry Jenkins), “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” (Netflix), “Madam Secretary”, and “The Code” (CBS). He received his training at the University of Michigan and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
The Broadway to Greensboro Series at Well-Spring is a collaboration between current Broadway performers, local musical theatre departments from select universities and performing arts schools, and the Well-Spring Events Team to bring Broadway closer to Well-Spring residents as well as local audiences. Three artist concerts per season. Plus, one concert performed by the UNCG Musical Theatre Program with proceeds from that concert benefiting their program.
Broadway to Greensboro is an entertaining and educational partnership between Well-Spring and the musical theatre departments of UNCG, UNCSA, Greensboro College, Elon University, and Weaver Academy that is generously supported by Well-Spring resident, Sue Irvin and her late husband, John.
