BUDRC 2022 Summary:
The highly anticipated British Undergraduate Dental Research Conference is back on Saturday 5th March 2022!
To get an idea of what the event is like, watch the highlights video from 2020- our last in person conference with over 300 delegates from 15 UK dental schools.
Following our successful virtual conference in 2021, this year we are returning to our usual in-person format and this special event is not one to be missed!
Over 95% of delegates graded the past conferences as excellent and an event they would attend again; thus the first ever national undergraduate dental research conference of its kind in the UK proved that dental students would travel from all corners of the country to learn and shape the future of dentistry.
BUDRC 2022 highlights will include:
- Inspirational DentTalks (in Ted-talk style)
- A new interactive morning format
- New workshops in a variety of fields of interest to students: from 'Aesthetic Treatment Planning' to 'Radiology'
- More hands-on workshops than ever before - including 'Posterior Composites', 'Rubberdamology' and more!
- A research competition with a Loupes prize
- A clinical case competition with a Loupes prize
- An opportunity to network with world renowned speakers and influencers in the dental world like Dr Shiraz Khan and Dr Affan Saghir
- Free lunch and refreshments
- A trade fair with the opportunity to speak to leading companies about how they can shape your future

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Delegates must be enrolled in an undergraduate dental course at a UK university. Student ID will be required to confirm this.
