Rt Hon. Bob Blackman MP and SHYAM invite you to the SHYAM's 12th Diwali celebrations at the House of Commons of the British Parliament.
About this Event

Jai Maa Saraswati!

This event will feature an inspirational talk on the Devi Mahatmaya and the symbolism and stories of the Hindu Goddess Maha Saraswati by Dhruv Chhatralia BEM.

In 2011 the theme of our Diwali celebrations was Ganesh, in 2012 it was Hanuman, in 2013 we held two events on Ram and Shiva, in 2014 we held two events on Krushna, in 2015 the topic was Durga, in 2016, 2017 and 2018 the theme was Lakshmi, in in 2019 the theme was Kali and now in 2023 the theme will be Saraswati.

With a line-up this year that includes the historic completion of our talks on the Devi Mahatmaya at the British Parliament, this is an event not to be missed!

Dhruv Chhatralia BEM is a Queen’s New Year Honours List award recipient, partner and UK head of venture capital at a global law firm, author of 21 one books and prominent speaker who has given over 400 talks on Hinduism.

This event will also present an opportunity to speak with leaders of the community, media personalities and professionals from all over the City and will enable you to gain a greater awareness about the festival of Diwali.
