About this Event
Join us for the first Bristol Workplace Travel Network meeting of 2026, organised by Bristol City Council and the Bristol Business Improvement District. This meeting will be generously hosted by built environment consultancy Ridge & Partners LLP.
The Bristol Workplace Travel Network is a series of meetings and events to support Bristol’s businesses in promoting and enabling sustainable transport for operations and staff.
February’s theme: Electric vehicles and business
Increasing numbers of vehicles on our roads are electric, from bikes and scooters to cars, buses and vans. This free event will explore some of the emerging benefits, challenges and opportunities for businesses emerging from this trend.
Speakers:
- Sara Sloman. Sara is a nationally-renowned EV consultant, Chief Strategy Officer at EV payments firm Paythru and Director of the EV Café. She will discuss upcoming trends and what businesses need to know about fleet electrification.
- Iqbal Ahmed. Iqbal is UK Head of Public Policy at micromobility company Dott. He will talk about Bristolians’ uptake of the shared e-bikes and scooters, and the opportunities for businesses in using their products.
- Bristol City Council speaker (TBC) on Bristol’s forthcoming EV Charging Strategy.
There will also be time to ask questions, discuss your workplace’s experience and respond to the speakers.
As with every BWTN meeting, you can also expect:
- Updates on major transport changes coming to the city centre and beyond.
- Innovative examples of Bristol businesses and organisations working to improve transport.
- News of transport support and offers for businesses.
- Time to network and meet other experts from across Bristol’s broad business community.
