About this Event
Bristol’s favourite winter event, Bristol Light Festival is returning bringing light, fun and colour to the city centre to brighten up the winter evenings. During our time together we will walk around the light installations in Bristol’s city centre with award-winning professional photographer - Adrian Wyatt, an avid nighttime photographer and course leader.
….’ my images veer towards strong lines, darkness and light with a tendency towards strong contrast and colour as an expression of emotion, life and journey.’
Adrian will be on hand to guide you with different ways to best capture them, from composition to bokeh and Intentional Camera Movement.
This is a no-rush 2-hour tour and a chance to stroll around several of the installations and try some creative and traditional photography ideas in the company of others.
Suitable for all and no experience is needed. This session is designed to be enjoyed with any type of camera, from a mobile phone to the most advanced set-up, and you will receive a pre-walk information & tips document to make sure you get the most out of your experience.
Starting Point: Please meet us outside the entrance of the Marriott Royal.
Tour Length: 2 hours
Please note that this is a walk around the city centre and several installations and will involve descending steps and uneven ground.
Covering the whole festival will take you between 3 and 5 hours, depending on your pace. The guides will help to orient you to these other locations so that you can continue to explore at your own pace.
