WHAT'S GOING ON?
On Sunday 26th January, Bristol Roller Derby As and Bees are playing back-to-back games of hard-hitting roller derby.
The A Team will be facing Oxford Roller Derby and Bristol Bees will be taking on Milton Keynes.
WHAT TIME DOES IT START?
11am - Doors open
12pm - Bristol Bees vs Milton Keynes
2:15pm - Bristol A Team vs Oxford Roller Derby
WHAT IS ROLLER DERBY?
Roller derby is a full contact sport played on quad skates. Two teams skate round a track and try to score points against other. The jammer, the player with the star, scores points by getting past and lapping blockers on the opposite team. It's one point per person. The team with the most points, wins!
T HIS SOUNDS GREAT, HOW DO I GET A TICKET?
Right here! Tickets are £8 or two for £12. Advance ticket sales end at 5pm on Saturday 25th January. On-the-door tickets are £10 so get in early!
Kids under 12 go free.
HOW DO I GET THERE?
Train - The sports centre is a 5-minute walk from Chippenham train station and trains run direct from Bristol Temple Meads.
Car - Car parking is available.
