About this Event
Growers and food producers of all sizes are invited to join this networking, gathering and collaboration building afternoon at Grow Wilder. We want to bring the amazing regions food producers together to celebrate the food resilience we are growing, and to ask what might be next for the area's fresh produce supply from a collaborative lens.
We invite all growers to bring any challenges they currently face (be it routes ot market, climate vulnerability, access to start/scale up funds, land availability, distribution, marketing, year round income), and also the opportunities for collaboration (e.g. tool library, collab crop plans, cropswaps, co-learning).
The gathering will be an informal and celebratory space , with a 2 hour workshop style discussion with break out groups for the different areas of challenge/opportunity. Shared feast and farm tour included . Free tickets available for all growers, with a suggested food & facilities donation of £5-15 to help cover costs if you can.
This is part of a growing regional collaboration between MGG, The Community Farm, Bristol Food Producers, Strode Valley, Bath & Bristol Area Growers, and We Are Avon 'Growers cluster' . Following our Growers survey form, and an event in Bristol earlier this year, we are following up with an invite to widen the growers input and gather many more voices. Also please do join if you came to the last one for continuity and network building!
Please also fill out this survey form to help inform our work to support regional growers: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfozw1qHGqQmmULrkGWdID69Ms3OPXjEhckGsYJ5FhhhiwkVA/viewform
