Bristol to Bretagne (B2B) is a cross-channel celebration of sound system culture at its core — an exploration of the raw, underground roots that shaped the UK and French scenes. This event aims to unite two foundational movements that have inspired generations of ravers, producers, and builders of independent culture.
The night unfolds in two journeys:
• Part I – Bristol:
A deep dive into the UK sound system culture — the birthplace of bass, breaks, and distortion. Expect styles that shaped the underground from the warehouses of Bristol and beyond: Donk, Breakcore, Bassdub, Jungle, and experimental bass mutations. The UK segment will pay homage to the DIY spirit, political resistance, and sonic experimentation that defined British sound systems.
• Part II – Bretagne:
The pulse shifts to France, channeling the energy of tribe, hard tek, and free party culture. This second half embodies the freedom, intensity, and hypnotic unity that the French underground built around its own rigs and fields — a raw, driving sound that connects dancers through rhythm and resistance.
This is not just a lineup — it’s a dialogue between two sound system nations. A cultural exchange. A B2B in every sense — Bristol to Brétagne, Breaks to Tek, Bass to Tribe.
