About this Event
The Brisbane Disability Industry Networking Group is kicking off - with the purpose of being more than a regular networking group - we are building a community of like-minded disability industry professionals who seek to serve others with passion, unique skill-sets, knowledge, experience and operating from a heart-centred approach.

How does the event run?
We meet once a month. During our hour together, every 6 minutes, the bell will ring and you'll have a chance to rotate and talk to someone new; making the most of the time together and maximising your conversations with attendees. Post-event, everyone receives a copy of attendees with names and emails so you can follow up and book your 1-1's as you wish.
What's the purpose of the event?
For everyone to share what they love and do with others, discuss capacity, and to ASK for who or what you are looking to be connected in with. This is a givers space - the more we listen and take on board what others are needing, and help to fill that gap for them - that's the heart of it all.
What if there are others that are in the same industry as me?
Terrific! We don't compete, we come together. If there are others who are in the same space as you - see this as an opportunity to see how they are serving, and if there's a way you can cross-refer. Maybe they service an area that you don't. Instead of saying "sorry I can't help you" to a referral, in this instance, you can do a warm intro to someone who can!
Do I need to pay for my ticket?
No! This is a free event. Tea and Coffee provided.
Where do I park?
There are plenty of free visitor carparks throughout the complex - feel free to park wherever you can. The office itself is located straight ahead (as you enter), look for the last building on your right for the entrance.
Can I register my ticket and also bring my team/staff along too?
Yes! But please know, we need to cap the tickets at 25 due to space and everyone's safety.
What should I bring to the event?
Bring your business card, brochures, product samples (where relevant) and giving spirit.
Everyone can have their promotional materials on the boardroom table which we will all be rotating around during the hour together.
Due to this event having great momentum on the Sunshine Coast, the concept for this started 3 years ago, and the relationships built from the early days - are still strong now. Many have introduced Participants to eachother, others have collaborated because there was great business synergy and could serve a wider community as a united force, others have regular catch-ups to brainstorm and learn how they are scaling their business. Whatever the purpose, we rely on one another for everyones unique talents so we can help fill the gaps for those that we serve - both Participant and family-facing and Industry peer-facing.
Ultimately, we are all better, when we are...together!
